Sarah Duncan

Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology from the University of Queensland in 2018 and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2020. Since graduating, she has worked as an academic and emergency nurse in veterinary specialist and emergency hospitals, and is passionate about delivering gold standard care and passing on her knowledge to the next generation of veterinary professionals. At home, Sarah has two lovable hellraisers: a Maltese x Cattledog named August and a Staffy x Chihuahua named Daffy, who bring the perfect level of chaos to everyday life. Outside of the fast-paced clinical environment, Sarah enjoys the slower things in life—reading, tea drinking, feeding her 100-strong flock of wild cockatoos and cooking being some of her favourite ways to unwind.
