Morna

Morna has been part of the AEC Woolloongabba team since December 2021 and brings over 10 years of experience in general practice with Greencross interstate. She holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (Cert IV VNC) as well as a Certificate IV in Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Nursing (Cert IV VNECC), which she completed in 2024.

With a lifelong love of animals that began growing up on a farm, Morna is passionate about delivering compassionate, individualised care to every patient. She values the opportunity to provide dedicated one-on-one nursing support, helping animals through their recovery while supporting their families during stressful times.

Morna enjoys the fast-paced nature of emergency and critical care, where no two days are the same. She is continually learning and finds the evolving nature of emergency medicine both challenging and rewarding. Her current areas of interest include critical care, intensive care nursing, and anaesthesiology, and she actively pursues ongoing study to further develop her expertise.

Outside of work, Morna enjoys spending time in nature, tending to her vegetable garden, and going on hikes.
