QLD Emergency- Emergency
Dr Diana Chua is the Veterinary Director at Animal Emergency Centre Woolloongabba, bringing more than a decade of clinical experience and a deep commitment to animal welfare and collaborative care.
After graduating with Honours from The University of Queensland, Diana spent two years in general practice before pursuing her passion for emergency and critical care, where she has worked for the past eight years. Her broad clinical background allows her to balance decisive emergency care with a holistic understanding of each patient’s ongoing needs.
Diana is currently completing a Master of Philosophy at The University of Queensland, with a research focus on animal welfare. This academic pursuit reflects her strong belief that every aspect of an animal’s wellbeing matters — and that the best outcomes are achieved when veterinary teams work in close partnership with pet owners.
As a leader, Diana is passionate about supporting clinical teams, fostering thoughtful decision-making, and delivering compassionate, high-quality care during some of the most challenging moments for pets and their families.
Outside of work, Diana enjoys spending time with her three cats and escaping into the world of books.
