Dr Cathy Faye

Cathy joined AEC in 2019 and brings a strong background in emergency and critical care. They graduated from the University of Liverpool in July 1993 and have been a Member in Emergency and Critical Care since June 2021. Since then, they have remained committed to ongoing learning and staying up to date with developments in the field, recognising that there is always more to know in veterinary medicine.

They value working within the AEC team for its collaborative, knowledgeable, and supportive environment, where colleagues work together through both positive outcomes and more challenging cases.

Outside of work, Cathy enjoys staying active and competing in triathlons, with a particular interest in long-distance events—they are currently preparing for their sixth Ironman. They also enjoy mountain biking, as well as spending time relaxing with their dogs.
