What is veterinary oncology?

 

Veterinary oncology encompasses the diagnosis and treatment of pets with cancer. Our specialist veterinary oncologists and medicine teams can prescribe and administer chemotherapy and are able to facilitate referral for external beam therapy and treatment of thyroid carcinoma with radioactive iodine therapy.  

Common cancers in dogs and cats that are treated include:
