Great vets . Our French bulldog had IVDD surgery this week and she was very looked after by the doctors and nurses. Our dachie Gucci has had IVDD surgery here too and she made a complete remission and went from stage 4 to now fully functional, healthy and living her best life post surgery. Just goes to show they have great, high standards and quality care for the animals and theyre in the best hands here . Surgeons are skilled. They kept us updated regularly. And they look and treat the whole pet dont just dismiss symptoms. I took Armani to another vet where I was told she must just be tired and have dehydration to take her home. I did and she deteriorated. So we bought her to Animal referral hospital in Sinnamon Park, and the vet was empathic understanding had great clinical knowledge and took Armanis symptoms seriously , administered IV fluids. Tick treatment and painkillers Armani needed to stabilise then she went for MRI and surgery and everything went well and shes recovering great. Personally I wouldnt waste time on other ED departments would come straight here if you want the best care for your pet

What a great Vet, we have only been using this vet for a short time and a few visits... but wow I can say these guys are so accommodating and great to deal with! We have a dog with a hard to manage medical condition that requires constant vet visits and more often than not emergency visits and after hours care. You can tell the team here actually care about your pet and want to help, very professional and the best part is very affordable. After being absolutely ripped off for years by our previous vet and then being spoken to rudely and not getting the answers we needed we moved on to this vet and we are so stoked and glad we did! Great work to the entire team from reception to the nurses and specialist vetinary team thank you finally found a vet worth going too! What a relief!!!

Calling all pet heros!

You may not have ever thought about it, but just like humans, some sick pets need blood transfusions to survive. Accidents and illnesses such as trauma, rat bait toxicity, immune disorders, cancer, and snake bites can cause life-threatening blood loss. In these cases, a single blood donation can save up to three critically ill animals.

If your pet is suitable, they can be added to our blood donor register and help save lives, they will also receive:

  • A $100 Petbarn voucher
  • A FREE full physical exam with each donation
  • A FREE blood test with each donation

All donor candidates undergo a thorough but non-invasive health screening to ensure they are healthy and won’t be adversely affected by giving blood. In fact, for many pets, this may be the most comprehensive health assessment they’ve ever had, giving you peace of mind while they help others.

Donations are spaced at least every three months. During the process, your pet will receive a light anaesthetic and be placed on IV fluids to ensure a smooth and safe recovery. The whole process takes less than 15 minutes!
