I cannot thank the team at Moorabbin Animal Emergency Centre enough for the incredible care they provided for my boy (Khan - Rottweiler). From the moment we arrived, every member of the team was compassionate, professional and genuinely invested in helping him. They kept me updated throughout the entire process, explained every treatment and procedure in detail, and took the time to answer all of my questions. During what was an incredibly stressful time, their communication and support made a huge difference. I often hear people complain about the cost of emergency veterinary care, but after seeing first hand the expertise, dedication and around the clock care provided by this team, I can honestly say it was money well spent. They worked tirelessly to help save my boy, and I will always be grateful for everything they did. I was also extremely thankful to have pet insurance, and the availability of gap payment options through the hospital made a difficult situation much more manageable financially. To the vets, nurses and support staff, thank you for treating my boy as if he were your own. You are an amazing team, and I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone facing a pet emergency.

We brought our beautiful guinea pig Harlow in on Friday/early Saturday morning, and I just wanted to say how incredibly grateful my daughter and I are for the care we received. From the very first phone call, the team were kind, gentle and reassuring while we were so upset. When we arrived, Dr Kitty and the nurses showed such genuine compassion and patience. My daughter and I were never rushed and were given all the time we needed to be with Harlow and say goodbye properly, which meant more to us than I can put into words. Dr Kitty was absolutely amazing calm, understanding and so respectful of how much Harlow meant to my daughter and I. The nurse were equally amazing soft-spoken, caring and truly supportive during one of the hardest moments for us. Losing a beloved pet is heartbreaking, but the kindness shown to both Harlow and our family made an incredibly painful night a little gentler. Thank you for treating her with dignity, warmth and love right until the end. We will always remember how compassionate you all were.

For some reason sick/injured animals, be it domestic or native, always end up at our house! After a very. Ad experience at another local vet on South rd Moorabbin (refused to treat a baby possum! And premises were filthy!) I found the AEC and called them and they were more than happy to take the poor baby possum! They did a full vet check and treated any issues and found it a specialist foster home for native animals. Since then weve also taken in a badly injured baby bird (?dove) and a domestic cat we had seen wandering the area for months and when it let us pick it up, had a large abscess on its face poor baby! The wonderful Nurse said if it had no microchip or if the owner refused to have the cat treated they would treat it regardless to ensure the animal was healthy! They really do make all animals, no matter the breed, the number 1 priority! All staff are extremely helpful and caring and knowledgeable. Always bring your pets here or any lost pets or native animals as they will not turn you away! If our own dog ever needs anything this is where we will be taking him! Huge thank you to all who work here for helping us and the animals have brought in and be their voice, truly amazing humans!!
